Therapy for High Achievers

High achievers are familiar with the concept of mastery. This may entail excellence in your occupation, with a sport, a musical instrument or a hobby.

Many high-achieving individuals seek coaching, but I believe psychotherapy offers deeper, more lasting change. While coaching focuses on strategies and goals, psychotherapy explores the underlying patterns, beliefs, and emotions that drive behavior. Our work will provide sustainable transformation that extends beyond professional settings and into the areas where you're seeking positive change.

Does this sound like you?

  • I understand what it takes to be great at something

  • I put more pressure on myself to achieve than other people

  • I find it hard to enjoy rest, leisure activities or maintaining relationships without feeling guilty that this time is being wasted

  • I measure my success against others and I often have the feeling that I’m not enough

  • People tell me that I can be too hard on myself

Our work

Our work leverages the traits that make you a high achiever — your discipline, critical eye, and grasp for long term commitment. We will explore what has helped you find success and apply it to areas in your life where you are looking for positive growth, whether it is your personal relationships, your career, or simply what’s next.

My background

I spent the first three decades of my life pursuing prestigious achievements and collecting shiny gold stars for my resumé. I thought it would make me happy, and it did, for a while. I’m familiar with the critical self-talk that facilitates discipline and gets results.
